NORD Introduces ECO Service for Improved Drive System Efficiency

Getriebebau NORD GmbH & Co. KG is offering a new ECO service aimed at assisting customers in making their operations more environmentally friendly. The service involves specialists measuring and analyzing the load profile of drive systems, whether they use NORD components or third-party parts.

The analysis helps identify and optimize any oversized drive systems within a customer's application. NORD provides an additional measurement if the system utilizes a drive recommended by the company itself. As part of a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis, the most cost-effective and energy-efficient solution for the specific application can be determined.

For large-scale systems with multiple drives, such as those found in intralogistics, the NORD ECO service can significantly reduce the variety of drive systems required. This streamlining leads to decreased administrative costs and more efficient production, logistics, storage, and service processes.

NORD offers high-efficiency motors with constant torque across a wide speed range, which are well-suited for applications where reducing the number of different drive variants is a goal.
