NORD Offers Drive Solutions for Warehouse Logistics

Bargteheide, Germany – Getriebebau NORD GmbH & Co. KG has released new drive solutions designed to enhance efficiency in warehouse logistics. The company provides a modular system allowing customers to configure individual drive systems comprising an electric motor, gear unit, and drive electronics.
The solutions are engineered to accommodate both horizontal and vertical conveyor systems. Specifically for horizontal conveyor technology, the decentralized NORDAC ON frequency inverter has been developed as an economical plug-and-play solution. Existing systems can also be easily retrofitted with NORD's technology.
NORD's drive components deliver constant torque over a wide speed range, reducing the need for various drive variants within a system. Combined with other NORD technologies, this contributes to significantly lowering the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). The NORD ECO service assists in developing energy-efficient system configurations and optimizing existing systems.
