Bargteheide – NORD DRIVESYSTEMS is presenting new, efficient drive solutions for airport baggage handling applications at the Inter Airport Europe 2023 trade fair in Munich. The company is displaying its energy-efficient motors and gearboxes designed to enhance the performance of logistics systems.
The company is exhibiting its IE5+ synchronous motor, which achieves an energy efficiency of up to 93 percent. Additionally, the patented DuoDrive geared motor is featured, combining high efficiency with a compact installation space. The DuoDrive system often includes a decentralized frequency inverter placed directly on the geared motor, facilitating installation.
NORD's solutions aim to reduce the number of component variants in use. This streamlines production, logistics, and warehousing, while also lowering the total cost of ownership (TCO). NORD also offers the NORD ECO-Service to assist customers in selecting the most energy-efficient drive solutions, which is particularly beneficial for large conveyor systems.
