Nordea Bank Abp Issues New Notes

Nordea Bank Abp announced late in 2018 the issuance of several new series of warrants, turbo warrants, certificates, and mini futures. In total, the bank introduced nearly 400 new targeted financial instruments to the market during October, November, and December.

The issuances included various series. In December, Nordea issued three new unlimited turbo warrant series on six separate dates, along with 143 new warrants. In November, the bank issued 13 different series of turbo warrants, with the largest issuances comprising series of 51 and 8 instruments respectively. Early November also saw the announcement of 15 new mini futures.

Throughout November and December, announcements of new unlimited turbo warrant series were frequent, often involving three new series issued over two consecutive days. Some issuances included the launch of different series across multiple days.

In October, Nordea Bank Abp issued several large batches of instruments. At the end of the month, 70 new turbo warrant series and 40 new certificate series were announced. Mid-month saw the release of 71 new turbo warrants. At the beginning of October, on October 1, Nordea issued announcements regarding the completion of a merger that moved the bank's domicile from Sweden to Finland, as well as a change to an ISIN code with Nordea as the underlying asset.
