Nordea Bank Abp has introduced a new feature called "Financial Health Check" within its mobile application, designed to help customers gain a better understanding of their financial standing and take actionable steps towards improvement.

The tool analyzes a customer's financial data, providing an overview of their savings, debts, insurance, and long-term planning. Based on this analysis, customers receive concrete suggestions, such as building a financial buffer, reviewing savings strategies, or updating insurance coverage.

By combining pre-filled data with minimal customer input, the feature delivers instant, jargon-free financial guidance. The "Financial Health Check" is inspired by the "bucket approach" strategy, which categorizes funds based on their intended use.

Nordea reports positive customer reception to the feature. The bank intends to further develop the tool for deeper personalization and integration with advisory services, aiming to embed proactive guidance into daily banking activities.
