NORDEN launches share buy-back program up to USD 25 million
Danish shipping company NORDEN has decided to initiate a share buy-back programme with a total value of up to USD 25 million. The program is based on an authorization granted at the company's general meeting.

Danish shipping company NORDEN announced on August 13, 2026, that its Board of Directors has approved a share buy-back program. The program is authorized to acquire up to USD 25 million (approximately DKK 162 million) worth of the company's shares.
The initiative is carried out under an authorization granted by NORDEN's general meeting on March 11, 2026. This authorization permits NORDEN to acquire treasury shares, with a nominal value not exceeding 15% of the company's share capital. The acquisitions will be made at the prevailing market price at the time of purchase, with a deviation of up to 10% allowed.
According to the company, the purpose of the share buy-back is to provide flexibility in managing NORDEN's capital structure. It aims to allow the company to repurchase shares if the market price is deemed lower than its intrinsic value, and to facilitate potential future acquisitions.
NORDEN is a global dry cargo company with a history spanning over 140 years. The company operates a fleet engaged in the international transport of goods and serves various industrial sectors worldwide.
