Nordex Group secures 155 MW wind turbine orders from Southern Europe and Turkey

Hamburg, Germany – Wind turbine manufacturer Nordex Group announced it has secured new orders totaling 155 megawatts across several Southern European countries and Turkey in recent weeks. The agreements encompass the supply and installation of 34 wind turbines, with project installations scheduled between spring 2027 and early 2028.

The contracts include turbines from Nordex's Delta and Delta4000 series, with specifications tailored to the specific wind conditions and site requirements of each project. All agreements are bundled with multi-year service and maintenance contracts, designed to ensure long-term high operational performance and availability of the turbines.

Specific customer and wind farm names have not been disclosed. The company continues to focus on strengthening its presence in key energy markets. Nordex Group's strategy emphasizes onshore turbines, particularly in the 4-7 MW+ class, designed for markets with limited installation space and grid capacity.

Since its establishment in 1985, Nordex Group has installed over 64 GW of wind power capacity in more than 40 markets. In 2025, the company's revenue was approximately EUR 7.6 billion, and it employed over 11,100 people. Its manufacturing facilities are located in Germany, Spain, Brazil, India, and the USA.
