Nordic Capital to Sell ArisGlobal to Dassault Systèmes
Nordic Capital has entered into an agreement to sell ArisGlobal, a software provider for the life sciences industry, to Dassault Systèmes. The transaction marks a full exit for Nordic Capital from its investment in ArisGlobal.
Private equity firm Nordic Capital has agreed to sell ArisGlobal, a company specializing in software for the life sciences sector, to French technology group Dassault Systèmes. The sale signals the culmination of Nordic Capital's multi-year partnership aimed at transforming ArisGlobal into a scaled and AI-enabled platform.
ArisGlobal, headquartered in Waltham, Massachusetts, provides software solutions for regulatory affairs, safety, and quality management to a global clientele that includes major pharmaceutical and biotechnology firms, as well as health authorities. Its LifeSphere® platform offers an integrated, cloud-native suite for managing regulatory submissions, pharmacovigilance, and clinical data.
Nordic Capital initially invested in ArisGlobal in 2019, with subsequent investments aimed at accelerating the company's transition to a cloud-native architecture and enhancing its market position. A key development during this period was the launch of NavaX, a generative AI solution designed to streamline safety case processing.
"Nordic Capital is proud of what has been achieved together with management and looks forward to seeing the company continue to grow under Dassault Systèmes ownership," stated Daniel Berglund, Partner and Head of Healthcare at Nordic Capital Advisors. ArisGlobal reported it serves over 200 enterprise customers and anticipates approximately $175 million in revenue for 2026.
The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected to close in the second half of 2026. The combination is intended to integrate ArisGlobal's AI capabilities with Dassault Systèmes' broader offerings across the life sciences value chain.
