Nordic Climate Group acquires Danish firm Combikøl

Nordic Climate Group has acquired Hjørring-based Combikøl, a move designed to strengthen the group's service network in northern Jutland. The acquisition adds specialized expertise in natural refrigerants, including CO2 and ammonia systems, to the group's existing Danish operations.

Founded in 2000, Combikøl provides installation and maintenance of cooling and freezing systems, as well as heat pumps, to clients in the agricultural, industrial, and maritime sectors. The firm employs 10 people and has established a market presence in northern Denmark over the past two decades.

Tue Sjøntoft, Country Manager for Denmark at Nordic Climate Group, stated that the acquisition aligns with the growing demand for energy-efficient, sustainable climate solutions. Combikøl will maintain its local brand identity, with its former owners continuing in their operational roles.

Established in 2021, Nordic Climate Group now operates over 100 local units across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and the Netherlands. The group generates approximately 5 billion SEK in annual revenue and employs around 2,000 staff.
