Nordic Climate Group acquires Dutch refrigeration group with six companies
Nordic Climate Group has expanded its footprint in the Netherlands by acquiring a cluster of six refrigeration companies.
Nordic Climate Group (NCG) has acquired a group of six Dutch refrigeration companies: Cooling Systems Holland, Cooling Service Holland, Installatiebedrijf Bakker BV, MIB Installatietechniek, TCB, and 3BG Cooling. This marks the company's third acquisition in the Netherlands since entering the market in June 2024.
The acquired entities operate primarily in the Oosterwolde and Assen regions, providing cooling and freezing solutions to the B2B sector, data centers, and the food industry. Collectively, these businesses employ approximately 170 people in the Netherlands, generating about 45 million euros in annual revenue.
Under NCG’s decentralized business model, the acquired companies will retain their existing local brand names and management teams. Former owners Edwin Walstra, Hans Fijlstra, and Sicco Rust will continue to lead their respective operations. NCG now comprises approximately 1,700 employees across roughly 100 locations in Northern Europe.
