Nordic Climate Group Acquires HP Kyla & Värme on Åland
Nordic Climate Group is expanding its operations by acquiring HP Kyla & Värme AB on Åland. The deal also includes the Swedish subsidiary HP Klimatservice AB.

Nordic Climate Group is expanding its geographical footprint with the acquisition of Åland-based HP Kyla & Värme AB in Mariehamn. The purchase also includes its Swedish subsidiary, HP Klimatservice AB, located in Vagnhärad. This move strengthens Nordic Climate Group's presence in eastern Sweden.
HP Kyla & Värme provides refrigeration services and installations for commercial clients and property owners. HP Klimatservice complements this with services related to control systems, monitoring, and heat pumps for both commercial and consumer customers. Combined, the companies have an annual turnover of approximately SEK 67 million and employ 42 people in Mariehamn and Vagnhärad.
Nordic Climate Group's strategy involves retaining the local brands and management teams of acquired companies, ensuring continuity and customer focus. CEO Fredrik Gren highlighted that Åland represents a new, yet strategically important, market for the group, serving as a link between Sweden and Finland. He also noted the acquired companies' expertise in natural refrigerants, particularly carbon dioxide, and their work with heat pumps.
The company plans to continue its growth across Northern Europe through both organic expansion and further acquisitions. Nordic Climate Group aims to be a leader in sustainable climate solutions, focusing on minimizing customers' carbon footprints and maximizing energy efficiency.
