Nordic Climate Group Acquires Three Finnish Cooling Companies

Nordic Climate Group, a provider of cooling, heating, and energy solutions, has expanded its presence in Finland through its subsidiary MV-Jäähdytys Oy. MV-Jäähdytys has acquired three companies located in Lappeenranta: JV Jäähdytysvoima Oy, Karjalan Kylmähuolto Oy, and CoolRef Oy. These acquisitions introduce a new operational region for MV-Jäähdytys in southeastern Finland, adding 12 employees to the group.

The newly acquired companies focus on service within industrial sectors, grocery stores, and air conditioning. MV-Jäähdytys has collaborated with these companies for several years. The integration is expected to significantly enhance MV-Jäähdytys's service capabilities in eastern Finland, particularly in emergency services and retail refrigeration solutions.

Established in 2021, Nordic Climate Group operates across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and the Netherlands. The group reports an annual turnover exceeding SEK 4.6 billion and employs over 1,600 individuals. With these latest acquisitions, Nordic Climate Group now has 11 locations in Finland and more than 350 employees nationwide.

The company aims to continue its growth trajectory, both organically and through further acquisitions, with a goal of solidifying its position as a leading player in Northern Europe. Nordic Climate Group focuses on assisting clients in reducing their carbon footprint and improving energy efficiency.
