Nordic Climate Group Expands in Netherlands with Bakker Vakkeuken Acquisition

Nordic Climate Group has expanded its operations in the Netherlands by acquiring Bakker Vakkeuken. Based in Berlikum, Bakker Vakkeuken specializes in commercial kitchen equipment and cooling systems, serving clients in sectors including restaurants, hotels, shipping, and healthcare.

The company, founded in 1988, combines expertise in commercial kitchens and refrigeration units with technical service and maintenance. It provides comprehensive solutions from design and installation to ongoing service and upkeep, emphasizing operational reliability for its customers.

The current owners, Peter Oostra, Willem Vellinga, and Jurriaan Hoekstra, will continue to lead Bakker Vakkeuken, which will operate under its existing name and brand as part of Nordic Climate Group. The acquisition significantly strengthens the group's presence in the northern Netherlands within fields requiring technical expertise and service.
