The Board has appointed Otto Søberg as the interim CEO. Mr. Søberg is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in industrial sectors. He has previously served as CEO for companies including Kværner Energy, Kværner Oil & Gas, Aker Yards, and Agility Group. Most recently, he held the position of CEO at Export Credit Norway.
Mr. Søberg is scheduled to join the company on October 7, 2026. Until his arrival, the Chair of the Board, Kjell Roland, will assume the responsibilities of the CEO. Nordic Mining is primarily involved in the mining and processing of minerals and metals in Norway, with a focus on nickel and cobalt.
