Nordlandsekspressen releases 2026 route map
Nordlandsekspressen, also known as NEX, has released its 2026 route map for its express boat services. The map details all stops and schedules for the upcoming year.

Nordlandsekspressen (NEX), which operates express boat services along Norway's Nordland coast, has published its route map and timetables for 2026. The company operates two identical high-speed vessels connecting Bodø with Svolvær and Sandnessjøen.
These 2019-built boats have a capacity of 220 passengers each. Onboard amenities include spacious lounges with tables and adjustable seating, as well as a cafe serving pastries, waffles, and beverages. A dedicated dog area is available, and outdoor deck seating offers scenic views.
The vessels are equipped with an internal elevator for easy access between decks for passengers with mobility issues or those using wheelchairs. Ticketing is primarily handled through the 'Reis' app, although onboard purchases are possible. However, due to high summer demand, advance booking is recommended to secure a spot.
Nordlandsekspressen offers discounted ticket options for frequent or long-distance travelers. The 'Reis Ung' ticket, for individuals aged 6-25, costs NOK 295 and provides unlimited travel on buses and express boats throughout Nordland for 30 days. The 'Travel Pass Nordland' costs NOK 1990 and offers unlimited travel by bus and express boat for seven days across the entire Nordland region. Both passes can be purchased via the 'Reis' app.
The company encourages passengers to consult the detailed map for all stops and schedules and to share their travel experiences on social media.
