Nordlo Acquires Norwegian IT Company Ilder
Nordlo has acquired the Norwegian IT company Ilder, which has a turnover of approximately NOK 49 million. The acquisition is expected to strengthen Nordlo's capabilities in software development and digital solutions.
Nordlo, a Nordic IT service provider, has acquired Norwegian IT company Ilder, which employs over 20 people and has offices in Bergen, Stord, and Fauske. The acquisition is expected to enhance Nordlo's expertise in customized software, integrations, and digital solutions.
Ilder reported a turnover of approximately NOK 49 million in 2025 and possesses strong competencies in areas such as design, user experience, and software development. Nordlo's CEO, Fredrik Almén, stated that the company chose Ilder due to strong cultural alignment and a shared focus on customer and employee satisfaction.
"We held discussions with several Norwegian companies in the autumn. The decision to acquire Ilder was primarily driven by cultural compatibility, a shared vision for strategy and company culture, and crucially, the importance of satisfied customers and employees," Almén commented.
Through this acquisition, Nordlo aims to strengthen its presence in the Bergen region and expand its operations in Northern Norway. The company aims to double its turnover in Norway within the next two to three years, capitalizing on the demand for tailored digital solutions and AI-based services.
