Nordlo and Microsoft Invest in Swedish Companies for Cloud Services
Nordlo and Microsoft are launching a significant joint investment targeting Swedish small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The initiative aims to tenfold the number of companies utilizing cloud services within three years.

IT services company Nordlo and technology giant Microsoft are making an expanded joint investment in Swedish small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), focusing on the adoption of public cloud services.
The primary objective is to increase the number of companies leveraging public cloud solutions by a factor of ten over the next three years. Nordlo CEO Fredrik Almén highlights the crucial role of the public cloud in enabling business innovation, particularly in areas like security and AI, noting a substantial increase in demand.
Research from the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth indicates that while most Swedish SMEs use digitalization for administration, only a small percentage extensively use it for business development. Microsoft Sweden CEO Sophia Wikander states that public cloud services lower the barrier to innovation by providing easy access to existing market solutions and emerging technologies like AI, potentially offering cost savings compared to in-house development.
Nordlo is one of Sweden's largest providers of cloud services and infrastructure, experiencing over 50 percent annual growth in the public cloud sector in recent years. The company has been a major Microsoft partner in this segment for several years. In their collaboration, Microsoft supplies products and staff training, while Nordlo handles services and customer delivery.
