Nordlo Appoints Magnus Blomberg as CTO to Drive Growth

Nordlo, an IT services provider, has created a new executive role, Chief Technical Officer (CTO), and appointed Magnus Blomberg to the position effective May 1, 2024. Blomberg will join the Group Management team, with responsibilities focused on strategic partnerships, the company's technology platform, and cloud services, aiming to increase Nordlo's growth.

With a turnover of SEK 2.1 billion and 900 employees across 40 locations in Sweden and Norway, Nordlo intends to boost its growth both organically and through acquisitions. As CTO, Blomberg will evaluate new markets and expertise areas, assess potential acquisitions technically and commercially, and oversee their integration into the Nordlo group and ecosystem.

The CTO role also includes managing strategic partnerships, such as the one with Microsoft, to enhance Nordlo's offerings. Blomberg highlighted the ongoing transformation for customers in security and cloud services, emphasizing the need for Nordlo to adapt alongside its partners and clients.

Magnus Blomberg, who co-founded Zetup, one of Nordlo's original companies, previously served as its Head of Technology. CEO Fredrik Almén stated that Blomberg's expanded authority is based on his recognized capabilities and potential to contribute to strategic initiatives. He will also continue to serve as an internal advisor on technical choices and strategies.
