IT services company Nordlo has been selected as the new IT partner for the Port of Gothenburg AB following a competitive procurement process. The agreement, potentially lasting up to eight years, will involve Nordlo providing IT infrastructure, operations, support, and cybersecurity services for the port's logistics operations.
The Port of Gothenburg, Scandinavia's largest, is designated as essential national infrastructure, requiring high standards for operational reliability and security. Nordlo will establish a new IT environment for the port, focusing on enhanced quality and security measures to support the port's digital transformation goals.
"We sought a partner that ensures a great user experience for our employees," stated Martin Johannesson, Head of IT & Cybersecurity at the Port of Gothenburg AB. He noted that Nordlo possesses the capabilities to support daily operations and meet the stringent quality and security demands.
The scope of work includes network and server operations, as well as user support. Both Nordlo and the Port of Gothenburg emphasize close collaboration and a deep understanding of the business as foundational elements for a successful partnership. The new IT environment is expected to be completed by the end of March 2024.
