Nordlo Launches IT Security Tool for Real-Time Visualization

IT group Nordlo has launched a new tool designed to offer businesses a visual and easily understandable real-time overview of their IT security. The tool aims to make cybersecurity measurable, comprehensible, and actionable, particularly for small and medium-sized enterprises that often have limited resources to address increasing security demands and threats.

The launch addresses a landscape of escalating cyber threats and stricter regulatory requirements, such as the EU's NIS2 directive. The new solution is integrated into Nordlo's existing cybersecurity offerings and includes a standardized minimum security level, known as Security Baseline. This baseline covers fundamental technical protections, security configurations, policies, and employee training.

Nordlo states that the tool provides management and boards with unique transparency through a user-friendly interface. This allows clients to monitor security parameters in real-time and receive concrete recommendations for addressing identified security gaps. The company suggests this offers a clearer basis for justifying investments and demonstrating the impact of implemented security measures.

The tool and the Security Baseline are being rolled out in Sweden and Norway following pilot phases, with full implementation targeted by the end of 2027. This initiative aligns with a broader national goal to enhance digital resilience across both public and private sectors against an increasingly complex threat environment.
