Nordnet enables Norwegian retail investors to access private placements
Nordnet partners with PrimaryBid to offer Norwegian retail investors improved access to private placements. This collaboration aims to broaden participation beyond institutional investors.

Nordnet, a digital platform for saving and investments in the Nordics, is partnering with technology company PrimaryBid. This collaboration will provide Norwegian retail investors with enhanced access to private placements, allowing them to subscribe for shares via Nordnet.
Historically, a significant portion of capital raised in Norway has occurred through private placements, limiting access for smaller investors. The new solution aims to address this by enabling retail investors to participate alongside institutional investors.
The partnership coincides with the upcoming EU Listing Act, which is expected to remove the current eight million euro cap and the national prospectus requirement, further facilitating retail investor participation in capital raising.
Nordnet's ambition is to democratise the savings and investment market. This partnership with PrimaryBid, which has a proven track record in markets like France and the UK, represents a move to make primary market opportunities more accessible to individual investors in the Nordics.
