Nordnet publishes annual and sustainability report for 2025

Nordnet, a leading Nordic digital bank, has published its annual and sustainability report for the fiscal year 2025. The report details a year of significant growth, with the customer base expanding by 12 percent and total savings capital reaching a record SEK 1,183 billion.

CEO Lars-Åke Norling highlighted 2025 as the strongest year in Nordnet's history. Customer growth added a quarter of a million new savers, and the savings capital saw a 15 percent increase. While net interest income declined due to lower market rates, this was offset by strong performance in the savings business, where income from share trading and fund savings hit new records.

The company also advanced preparations for its German market launch, scheduled for the second half of 2026. Nordnet received several accolades during the year, including a Red Dot Design Award and top rankings in EPSI's customer satisfaction surveys in Denmark and Finland.

In terms of sustainability, Nordnet's report is its first prepared in accordance with the EU's Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and ESRS standards. The company set a new long-term target for net-zero emissions across its entire value chain by 2050. The carbon footprint of customers' investments remained stable, with 87 percent of fund capital invested in sustainability-categorized funds.
