Nordnet reduces fees for stock trading in Nordic and international markets

Nordnet has rolled out new pricing lists for stock trading, effective June 13, 2015. The updated structure features four distinct brokerage classes designed to substantially decrease the costs associated with trading international stocks.

The minimum fee for trading within the Nordic region has been set at 1 SEK for transactions up to 400 SEK. To simplify the selection process, Nordnet has launched a new tool called "Courtagekollen" (Brokerage Check), which allows customers to assess and choose the most suitable brokerage class based on their trading habits and chosen markets.

"We stand for transparency, and it should be easy for our customers to choose the price model that best suits them. We have received feedback that the previous price list was unclear, so simplification has been a priority," stated Eva Trouin, Nordnet's Country Manager for Sweden. "With our new tool 'Courtagekollen', our customers can see which price plan fits them best," she added.

Fees for trading in the United States, Germany, and Canada have also been reduced. Nordnet notes a growing interest in these markets, with a 25% increase in customers trading foreign stocks year-on-year compared to the same period in 2014. All Swedish customers will be transitioned to the new brokerage classes starting June 13.
