Nordnet Reports Record 2024 Results, Plans German Expansion

Digital savings and investment platform Nordnet has published its 2024 year-end report, marking its highest quarterly income to date. The fourth quarter saw income reach SEK 1,374 million, primarily driven by strong trading and fund savings activity.

The company reported a robust fourth quarter with an adjusted operating profit of SEK 919 million, the highest in Nordnet's history. Over 2024, a quarter of a million new Nordic private individuals began saving on the platform, resulting in a 14 percent annual customer growth rate. Nordnet also achieved high rankings in Nordic customer satisfaction surveys.

CEO Lars-Åke Norling announced Nordnet’s intention to establish operations in Germany next year. This expansion is part of the company's strategy to create a comprehensive, one-stop shop for savings and investments, a move Norling described as timely.

Key highlights from the year include record revenue and profit, the highest customer and net savings growth in three years, and the launch of the Livrente pension product in Denmark. Nordnet has also updated its medium-term growth targets and intends to propose a dividend of SEK 8.10 per share.
