German discount grocer NORMA has reduced prices on a range of products, including sausages, cold cuts, and mozzarella. The price cuts, which vary by item, can reach up to 17 percent.

NORMA lowers prices on popular food items by up to 17 percent

Nuremberg, Germany – Discount grocer NORMA announced a new round of price reductions on a variety of food items across its German stores. The reductions affect several popular products, including bratwurst, sliced meats, and mozzarella, with some prices falling by as much as 17 percent.

This marks the second significant price reduction from the company in May. NORMA stated that it has already made nearly 250 popular items cheaper this year, aligning with its business motto of "More for the money."

The price adjustments include items such as Eberswalder mini bratwurst, which has dropped from 1.79 euros to 1.49 euros. Other affected products include various cold cuts from brands like Gut Bartenhof and Metten, as well as mozzarella and pizza dough from Villa Gusto.

NORMA is a German food retailer founded in 1964. The company operates over 1,450 stores across Germany, Austria, France, and the Czech Republic, with its headquarters located in Nuremberg.
