NORMA Reduces Ice Cream Prices Amid Heatwave
German food discounter NORMA is lowering prices on its own-brand RIVA ice cream by up to 33 percent in response to soaring temperatures. The price cuts are effective immediately.
Nuremberg-based food discounter NORMA has reduced prices on numerous varieties of its private-label RIVA ice cream by up to 33 percent in Germany. The move comes as the country experiences a heatwave, driving demand for cooling treats.
The price reductions apply to various ice cream types and package sizes. For instance, RIVA Mini Frucht Mix ice cream sticks (600 ml) are now priced at 1.99 euros, a reduction of one euro from the previous price. Additionally, NORMA customers can save 80 cents, nearly 29 percent, on packs of RIVA Eis Hits Eismix (570 ml) and Party-Mix Colorino (517 ml/592 ml).
Other discounted items include RIVA Eissticks Nut Star / Choco Star (408 ml), RIVA Mini Bigger Stieleis Mandel (600 ml), and RIVA Eissticks (672 ml), all available at reduced prices.
NORMA operates over 1,450 stores across Germany, Austria, France, and the Czech Republic. The company, headquartered in Nuremberg, was founded in 1964.
