NORMA reduces prices on meat and sausage products in Germany
The discount supermarket chain NORMA has implemented permanent price reductions of up to 16 percent on a variety of meat and sausage products.

Nuremberg-based grocery chain NORMA has announced a series of price cuts across its meat and cold cut product categories. Effective immediately, the retailer has lowered prices on items including salami, bacon, liver sausage, and breaded schnitzel across its German store network.
The reductions apply to private label brands such as GUT BARTENHOF and MY SMILE. For instance, the price for a 380-gram pack of ham sausages has been reduced from 2.29 euros to 1.99 euros. These price adjustments are permanent and represent the latest effort by the discounter to pass cost efficiencies on to consumers.
Operating over 1,450 stores across Europe, NORMA faces intense competition in the discount retail sector. By adjusting prices on staple goods, the company aims to maintain its competitive stance amid broader market pressures.
