NORMA reduces prices on nut products
Discount grocery retailer NORMA has announced permanent price cuts on various nut products across its private label brands effective mid-September.

Nuremberg-based grocery chain NORMA has implemented price reductions for a range of nut products, including almonds, hazelnuts, and walnuts. The price adjustments affect private label brands such as Zauberhaft Backen and Ardilla.
Depending on the specific item, price cuts reach up to 16 percent. For instance, 100-gram packs of almonds have been reduced from 1.49 euros to 1.25 euros, while various 200-gram hazelnut products have seen prices drop from 3.49 euros to 2.99 euros.
The strategic move comes as retailers compete for budget-conscious shoppers in the lead-up to the peak seasonal baking period. By lowering prices on these ingredients, the company aims to sustain its competitive positioning in the discount retail sector.
NORMA operates more than 1,450 retail locations across Germany, Austria, France, and the Czech Republic.
