NORMA reduces prices on salmon specialties and baking powder
German discount grocer NORMA has announced price reductions on a variety of products, including salmon specialties and baking powder. This marks the sixth major price cut within five weeks.

Nuremberg-based discount grocer NORMA continues its price reduction strategy into the start of 2024. The company announced on Monday that it is implementing its sixth significant price decrease in five weeks. The reductions apply to a range of products, including baking powder, liquid sweetener, and cornstarch.
Among the items seeing reduced prices are also salmon specialties and Norwegian smoked salmon under the FJORDKRONE brand, as well as feta cheese from the ÖMÜR brand. NORMA states that it passes on purchasing advantages directly to consumers. The company indicates that over 55 different assortment items have become cheaper in January alone.
NORMA, headquartered in Nuremberg, operates more than 1,450 stores across Germany, Austria, France, and the Czech Republic. The company has been actively communicating price reductions for several weeks, aiming to offer customers more affordable shopping opportunities.
