NORMA Seeks Properties to Expand Store Network at Expo Real
Food retailer NORMA sought new store locations among real estate professionals at Expo Real 2024 in Munich. Over 40 expansion managers attended the event.

Nuremberg-based food discounter NORMA participated in Expo Real 2024 in Munich with over 40 expansion managers, actively seeking new store locations. The trade fair, held from October 7-9, served as a platform for networking with key decision-makers in the real estate sector, including municipalities, economic development agencies, investors, project developers, and construction companies.
NORMA strengthened its presence in the real estate market, aiming to further expand its store network across Germany, France, the Czech Republic, and Austria. The intensive discussions held at the fair have laid the groundwork for future expansion opportunities. Potential store sites for purchase or lease will be further evaluated in the coming weeks and months.
The company's expansion strategy focuses on establishing new, modern, and spacious stores situated in accessible locations with ample parking. These new facilities are intended to replace older, smaller stores in city centers and enhance product availability to meet customer demand.
The search for new store locations also aligns with NORMA's sustainability goals by shortening supply routes and optimizing logistics. The company currently operates over 1,450 stores in four countries and is continuously exploring avenues for growth.
