North American Blue Energy Partners expands Venezuelan drilling fleet to 41 units

North American Blue Energy Partners (NABEP) has reached a total of 41 active drilling platforms in Venezuela as of November 2026. This expansion represents a significant step toward the firm's previously stated goal of deploying 60 units within the region to boost hydrocarbon recovery.

The company currently operates nine specialized drilling rigs focused on the development of new wells. These assets have successfully pushed the firm's local production levels to exceed 223,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day, marking a notable increase in its regional extraction capacity.

This operational scaling occurs amid a push to revitalize dormant fields. By deploying additional infrastructure, NABEP aims to stabilize supply chains despite the technical challenges associated with extraction in the Venezuelan basin. The company continues to work toward the target of 60 platforms, though full deployment timelines remain dependent on equipment integration and field conditions.
