Northern Jet Achieves IS-BAO Registration, Bolstering International Safety Standards
Northern Jet has achieved registration with the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO). This globally recognized standard enhances the company's safety program and supports its expansion in international private aviation.

Orlando, Fla. โ October 2, 2026 โ Northern Jet has secured registration with the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO), adding a globally recognized operational benchmark to its safety program. This achievement supports the company's ongoing expansion in international private aviation.
The IS-BAO standard, developed by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC), focuses on promoting disciplined operating practices and effective safety management. Northern Jet received its Stage 1 registration following a comprehensive preparation process and a three-day audit that assessed its flight operations, policies, and Safety Management System (SMS).
Issued on August 31, 2026, and valid through August 31, 2028, the IS-BAO registration complements Northern Jet's existing safety credentials, which include ARGUS Platinum status and WYVERN Wingman PRO certification. Tim Reeve, Director of Safety at Northern Jet, stated that the registration validates the team's efforts in strengthening operational systems and safety culture.
According to CEO Chris Bull, the IS-BAO registration reinforces the foundation for the company's growing international capabilities and upholds its commitment to operational consistency. This development follows Northern Jet's recent fleet expansion, including the addition of its first Gulfstream G550 in July, which enhances its long-range mission capabilities.
