Norton Motorcycles Unveils 450cc Urban Motorcycle Concept

Norton Motorcycles has officially unveiled plans for a 450cc urban motorcycle, marking the brand’s entry into a new segment. The motorcycle will feature a 454cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine producing 45 Nm of torque, housed within an aluminum frame. The vehicle is designed to bridge the gap between traditional brand aesthetics and contemporary urban utility, incorporating an 8-inch TFT touchscreen and advanced connectivity features.

Sudarshan Venu, Chairman of TVS Motor Company—the parent company of Norton—stated that the move is intended to broaden the brand’s appeal to a new generation of riders. The company maintains that the model is designed to preserve Norton’s historical focus on engineering and design detail while adapting to the demands of modern metropolitan transport.

This announcement follows the company's 2025 EICMA presentation, where it introduced the Manx and Atlas model lines. The development of the 450cc project leverages resources across Norton’s UK-based Solihull facility and TVS Motor’s global R&D network in Italy and India. The model is expected to go on sale in 2027, with final branding and official naming to be disclosed closer to the commercial launch.
