Norway orders Patria 6x6 vehicles under CAVS programme
Patria and Norway have agreed on the purchase of 20 Patria 6x6 armoured vehicles as part of the multinational CAVS programme. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2026.

Helsinki – Patria has finalized an agreement with Norway for the delivery of 20 Patria 6x6 armoured vehicles. This acquisition is part of the multinational Common Armoured Vehicle System (CAVS) programme, aimed at enhancing protected mobility capabilities across Nordic countries.
The order includes Command and Control (C2) variants equipped with Kongsberg PROTECTOR RS4 Remote Weapon Stations. The agreement also covers associated support, training, and spare parts. Norway holds options for an additional 40 C2 variants and RS4 Remote Weapon Stations.
Deliveries are slated to commence in 2026. The CAVS programme involves several Nordic nations, with the goal of standardizing the procurement and maintenance of armoured vehicles among participating countries.
