Nothing, the consumer electronics firm, has countered recent media reports suggesting market exits and significant workforce reductions. Co-founder Akis Evangelidis clarified via the X platform that the company is not withdrawing from any markets.

Evangelidis stated that Nothing is undergoing a 'team restructuring' to position itself for future growth. This involves establishing new business units, including an AI-native division, and consolidating country-specific operations into regional hubs to enhance overall efficiency. The company aims to lead the next era of personal computing.

While acknowledging that the restructuring does impact certain roles, Evangelidis emphasized that the extent of job losses reported externally is 'grossly exaggerated.' He urged media outlets to adhere to fact-based reporting and journalistic integrity.

In a separate point, Evangelidis highlighted the commercial success of the Nothing Phone (4b), which sold 29,537 units on its first day of sales, setting a record for its price segment. This indicates continued strong consumer interest in Nothing's product offerings.
