Nothing has announced the launch of its latest audio product, the Nothing Ear (3a) wireless headphones, priced at 99 euros. Positioned between the company's existing Ear (a) and Ear (3) models, the new earbuds offer an upgraded active noise cancellation system with three adjustable levels.

The Ear (3a) headphones are equipped with 12mm dynamic drivers, a slight increase from the Ear (a) model, aiming to enhance low-frequency performance. The device supports Bluetooth 6.0 and the LDAC codec, enabling playback of high-resolution audio up to 24-bit/96kHz. They also include an advanced equalizer and static spatial audio, though they do not support dynamic head tracking.

Key features include an 'audio snapshot' function that allows users to record audio, including calls or music playback, for up to 60 seconds at a time. A pre-recording option captures the 15-30 seconds prior to activation. The headphones also boast a built-in 32MB storage for call recording. Notably, a prompt tone is played to both parties when call recording is initiated, with options for automatic transcription and AI summarization of recorded conversations.

Battery life is rated at up to 10 hours with ANC off on a single charge, extending to 42 hours with the charging case. The charging case features an LED indicator. The Nothing Ear (3a) will be available in black, white, yellow, and pink.
