French firms Novacium, LN Innov', and Groupe Zekat will present a new integrated European drone propulsion system at the Eurosatory 2026 defense exhibition.
Novacium, in collaboration with LN Innov' and Groupe Zekat, will showcase a novel, integrated European propulsion system for drones at the Eurosatory 2026 exhibition in Paris. The announcement was made on June 4, 2026.
The three companies intend to present a comprehensive European drone propulsion solution. This "Souverain" platform reportedly integrates Novacium's advanced battery technology, LN Innov's high-performance electric motors, and Groupe Zekat's intelligent electronic speed controllers.
LN Innov' spearheaded the initiative, bringing together ecosystem partners and serving as the integrator for the propulsion system. Novacium's contribution involves its silicon-enhanced lithium-ion battery technology, aiming for superior energy density while maintaining compatibility with existing manufacturing infrastructure.
HPQ Silicon Inc., which holds a 36.8% stake in Novacium and exclusive North American rights to its technologies, highlighted that the system is designed and manufactured in France. This move addresses growing demands for technological sovereignty and diversified supply chains in defense and industrial applications.
