Nua Raises $50 Million for Women's Wellness Product Expansion
Omnichannel femtech startup Nua has secured $50 million in Series C funding to expand its product portfolio and distribution network. The company plans to bolster its research and development capabilities.

Indian femtech company Nua announced on [Date of Article] that it has raised $50 million (approximately ₹472 crore) in its Series C funding round. The round was led by Peak XV Partners and Filter Capital, with participation from existing investors Mirabilis Investment Trust and Footpath Ventures. This capital infusion is earmarked for brand building, expanding reach and distribution, and strengthening research and development for its women's wellness offerings.
The funding will enable Nua to broaden its product pipeline in the women's wellness sector. The Series C round included both primary capital and secondary transactions, allowing for partial exits for earlier investors. This follows a pre-Series C round in February 2025 where Nua raised ₹35 crore (about $3.9 million).
Founded in 2017 by Ravi Ramachandran and Abhishek Ramanathan, Nua provides a range of women's wellness products, covering menstrual care, maternity care, skincare, and intimate care. Its product line includes items such as sanitary pads, cramp relief products, and intimate washes, sold through its direct-to-consumer website and various e-commerce platforms.
Nua reports serving over 3 million women and girls monthly. CEO Ravi Ramachandran stated that the company's annualized revenue run rate has increased fivefold from ₹100 crore to ₹500 crore over the past 24 months, while remaining profitable. The startup operates in a competitive market, facing rivals like Plush, Azah, Pee Safe, and Carmesi.
