Nubia Launches NaviX Ultra Smartphone with AI Assistant
Nubia has released the NaviX Ultra, the second-generation Doubao Phone, starting at RMB 5,999. The device features the Doubao Phone Assistant, designed for complex task management across applications.
Nubia has launched the NaviX Ultra, the second-generation Doubao Phone. The base model, featuring 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, is priced at RMB 5,999 (approximately $825 USD), with a government-subsidized price starting at RMB 5,499. Higher configurations include a 16GB+512GB model for RMB 6,499 and a 16GB+1TB version for RMB 7,499.
The NaviX Ultra is presented as the world's first AI agent phone and is the first mass-market device to ship with the Doubao Phone Assistant consumer version. Nubia states the assistant is capable of understanding complex instructions, planning and executing cross-app tasks, adapting to usage patterns, self-correcting, and maintaining context for long-running operations.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Mobile Platform. It also includes a dedicated AI key, which integrates fingerprint authentication for quick access to the assistant's features.
