Nubia Neo 5 GT Special Edition Launches with Dual Active Cooling System

Smartphone brand nubia has launched the Neo 5 GT Special Edition, a device aimed at gamers. The company highlights the new AquaCore Cooling System as a key feature, stating it is the first in its class to integrate both liquid and air cooling technologies. This system is intended to enhance sustained performance during intensive gaming sessions.

The AquaCore system utilizes a liquid cooling component, described as using AI server-grade coolant circulated by a piezoelectric micropump. This is paired with an active cooling fan and a specific airflow design to accelerate heat dissipation. Nubia reports a total heat dissipation area exceeding 33,000 mm², combining VC, graphite, and liquid cooling.

The device also includes gaming-focused features such as 550 Hz Neo Triggers for responsive input and a low touch latency. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset with up to 24GB of RAM and features a 6,210mAh battery with 80W fast charging. The display is a 6.8-inch AMOLED panel with a 144Hz refresh rate.

Furthermore, the nubia Neo 5 GT Special Edition incorporates an AI Copilot named Demi 2.0, offering gaming assistance features. The smartphone will be available globally starting this July. Nubia has also committed to providing five years of software updates for the device.
