Chinese technology firm Nubia has unveiled a partial look at its upcoming AI-focused smartphone, slated for an official debut at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) 2026.

The released image shows the rear of the phone in a light pink colorway, with "nubia" branding positioned centrally. The bottom edge of the device reveals speaker grilles, a USB-C port, and a SIM card slot. While the camera module's exact design is obscured, the preview suggests a horizontal orientation with rounded edges.

This device is positioned as the world's first AI agent smartphone and will incorporate a large AI agent model. Nubia previously announced it had completed the registration for its "intelligent agent large model," which will power the included "Doubao" smartphone assistant.

The announcement at WAIC 2026 signals the company's strategy to integrate advanced artificial intelligence capabilities into consumer devices. Nubia aims to be at the forefront of AI-powered mobile technology. Further specifications and pricing details are expected closer to the event.
