Nubia Sets Sept. 16 Launch for Doubao-Powered NaviX Ultra

Nubia is scheduled to launch its NaviX Ultra smartphone on September 16 at 2 p.m. Beijing time.

The handset is a joint development between ZTE and ByteDance and will integrate the Doubao mobile assistant. The company is marketing the device as an AI agent phone.

The NaviX Ultra will utilize LPDDR5X memory from Chinese supplier ChangXin Memory Technologies, operating at 10,667Mbps. ChangXin has stated this marks the first mass-production application of domestically produced LPDDR5X chips at this speed.

Other announced partners for the device include Qualcomm, BOE, Samsung Semiconductor, and Goodix. While unconfirmed specifications suggest a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and a 7,000mAh battery, these details have not been officially verified by Nubia.
