Nubia Unveils NaviX Ultra AI Agent Smartphone
Nubia has revealed its new NaviX Ultra smartphone, which it claims is the world's first "AI Agent" phone. The device will be available in multiple color options.

Chinese technology firm Nubia has officially unveiled its latest smartphone, the NaviX Ultra. The company positions the device as the world's first "AI Agent" smartphone, featuring its proprietary "Doubao" assistant.
The NaviX Ultra will be offered in black, white, and blue color variants. It includes a distinct orange "AI Key" and sports a horizontal rear camera module.
According to Nubia, the phone's functionality relies on a novel approach to integrating third-party applications. Rather than reading the user's screen and simulating actions, it aims to leverage an interface protocol (MCP - Model Context Protocol) provided by the applications themselves for AI operations. Nubia is reportedly in discussions with application developers to enable access to these interfaces.
This new integration method distinguishes the NaviX Ultra from previous attempts at on-device AI, which often depended on visual interface (GUI) simulation. The move suggests a broader industry shift towards deeper, API-driven AI integration within mobile operating systems.
