Nucleus Research releases 2026 manufacturing CPQ technology market analysis
Nucleus Research has published its 2026 assessment of Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) software, focusing on automation and integration in manufacturing.

Nucleus Research has released its 2026 Manufacturing CPQ Technology Value Matrix, evaluating software solutions designed to handle complex product configuration, pricing, and quoting. The report emphasizes the role of engineering automation and system integration in streamlining sales-to-production cycles and maintaining profit margins amidst fluctuating material costs.
Configit, Configure One, Epicor, Infor, and Tacton are identified as the market leaders in this year's analysis. According to the report, successful CPQ implementation now requires seamless data flow between customer requirements and production specifications, often through direct links to CAD, PLM, and ERP systems. This reduces repetitive engineering tasks and improves operational coordination.
"Manufacturers realize greater returns from CPQ when configuration accuracy extends directly into engineering and production," said Cameron Marsh, Senior Analyst at Nucleus Research. The report also highlights the emergence of AI-driven tools and interactive product visualization, which are expected to continue driving efficiency by simplifying product modeling and the customer buying experience.
