Numero Acquires Royu to Build Agentic Work System for CFO Offices

PALO ALTO, Calif. – Numero AI announced on May 13, 2026, the acquisition of Royu in an undisclosed cash-and-stock transaction. The move aims to unite two AI-first companies with a shared goal of enabling more efficient and leaner operations for CFO offices.

As part of the acquisition, Royu co-founders Viswajith and Sathya will join Numero's leadership team. Viswajith will assume the role of Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer, while Sathya will become Chief Technology Officer. The broader Royu team will also integrate into Numero.

For years, finance organizations have relied on fragmented systems and manual processes. Numero and Royu are developing a platform where AI agents execute core finance workflows with accuracy and auditability, allowing human teams to focus on review, governance, and scaling rather than manual execution.
