Nvidia and Samsung Pledge to Continue 33-Year Partnership

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang confirmed that the company will continue its collaboration with South Korean technology firm Samsung Electronics. The meeting occurred on September 29, coinciding with an event where Huang received the Van Fleet Award.

Huang stated that Nvidia's partnership with South Korea has spanned 33 years and expressed his intention to continue this cooperation for another 33 years. He highlighted the mutually beneficial outcomes of their joint efforts and suggested that continued collaboration could solidify South Korea's role as a global center for technology manufacturing.

Samsung Electronics Executive Chairman Lee Jae-yong also spoke at the event, emphasizing the shared focus on artificial intelligence (AI) between both companies. He indicated that building upon their common goals and extensive history, Samsung and Nvidia aim to deepen their partnership to support future technological advancements.

The Van Fleet Award recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to strengthening US-Korea relations. Huang's receipt of the award underscores his role in fostering international cooperation within the technology industry.
