Nvidia has rapidly established an equity investment portfolio worth nearly $100 billion within two years by investing in other technology companies. The portfolio's value has seen exponential growth.

Nvidia has rapidly built an equity investment portfolio valued at nearly $100 billion over the past two years through strategic investments in other technology firms. According to the company's latest financial report dated July 26, Nvidia held $99 billion in equity investments and other marketable securities.
The portfolio has experienced significant growth. Last summer, the investments were valued at approximately $7 billion, a substantial increase from $2.2 billion two years prior. This represents a more than 45-fold increase in value. Additionally, Nvidia has disclosed investment commitments totaling $25 billion.
Among Nvidia's largest disclosed holdings are $30 billion worth of Intel stock and $21 billion in SpaceX. The company has also invested between $2 billion and $5 billion in firms such as CoreWeave, Coherent, Synopsys, and Nokia.
With its substantial investment activities, Nvidia has emerged as one of the world's leading technology investors. While its portfolio is smaller than Alphabet's $232 billion, Nvidia's rapid expansion highlights its pivotal role in the artificial intelligence ecosystem, funding AI initiatives and startups.
Nvidia's investment strategy is driven by a desire to accelerate AI development. Chief Financial Officer Collette Kress stated that computational power limitations could hinder advanced AI labs. Consequently, Nvidia has invested nearly $50 billion to support these labs, aiming to fuel the sector's progress.
