Nvidia RTX Spark Laptops Launch with Prices Starting at $2,599
The first laptops featuring Nvidia's new RTX Spark chip are priced to compete with high-end MacBook Pros, with starting configurations costing $2,599.
Nvidia's new RTX Spark chip is powering a new wave of high-performance laptops designed to challenge Apple's MacBook Pro line, with initial models released at premium price points.
The Surface Laptop Ultra and other RTX Spark-equipped laptops from manufacturers including Dell, Lenovo, MSI, HP, and Asus will start at $2,599 for configurations featuring an 18-core CPU, 24GB of unified memory, and 512GB of storage.
This initial pricing is comparable to similarly specced 14-inch MacBook Pro models equipped with Apple's M5 Pro chip, though Apple includes 1TB of storage in its base configuration. Both Nvidia-based and Apple laptops can see prices increase substantially with higher-end specifications.
Reports indicate that fully configured models, such as the Asus ProArt P16 RTX Spark, are expected to exceed the base price significantly, reflecting the advanced capabilities of the new chip.
