Nvidia's Q2 Revenue Tops $96.2 Billion Amid Strong AI Chip Demand
Nvidia's second-quarter revenue surpassed expectations, reaching $96.2 billion, driven by a surge in demand for its AI chips. The results indicate continued robust spending on AI infrastructure.

Nvidia reported second-quarter revenue of $96.22 billion, significantly exceeding Wall Street's forecasts, as demand for its high-end artificial intelligence chips remained strong. The results signal continued substantial investment in AI infrastructure.
The company announced on Wednesday a net income of $59.69 billion, or $2.46 per share, for the May-July period. This marks a substantial increase from the $26.42 billion, or $1.08 per share, reported in the same quarter last year. Adjusted earnings per share came in at $2.22, surpassing the consensus forecast of $2.09 among analysts.
Overall revenue more than doubled compared to the previous year. Nvidia's high-end chips have become a critical component for AI development, leading the company to consistently outperform analyst expectations over the past three years.
Alongside increased profits and revenue, Nvidia's operating expenses rose by 55% to $8.41 billion. For the current quarter, the company projects revenue of approximately $108 billion, compared to analysts' average forecast of $104.86 billion. Reaching this target would represent an approximately 89% increase from the same period last year.
