Nvidia's Shield TV Pro price increased by $100
Nvidia has increased the price of its Shield TV Pro streaming device by $100 to $299.99 due to rising component costs. The price adjustment took effect on October 2nd.

Nvidia has raised the price of its Shield TV Pro streaming device by $100, bringing the new retail price to $299.99. The price adjustment became effective on October 2nd.
This price hike is attributed to increased costs for components, a situation exacerbated by global memory shortages affecting a wide range of electronics, from game consoles to digital cameras, according to Ars Technica.
The Shield TV Pro originally launched nearly seven years ago at a price of $199.99. Its initial configuration included an upgraded Tegra X1+ processor, 3GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage.
When Nvidia first announced the Pro model in 2019, it also introduced an updated entry-level version of the Shield TV, featuring the same processor but with 2GB of RAM and 8GB of storage.
